RND Automatic is a dynamic Romanian engineering company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of turnkey special-purpose machinery. With offices in Satu Mare and Cluj-Napoca, we collaborate with leading industrial clients to deliver innovative automation solutions.

We are expanding our Cluj-Napoca team and seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer who will bridge technical expertise with customer engagement, helping clients find tailored automation solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and meetings
2. Understand client requirements and propose optimal technical solutions
3. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals with support from Design & Software teams
4. Manage multiple quotations and ensure timely follow-up
5. Attend customer clarification meetings as a technical authority
6. Collaborate with suppliers to define solutions and pricing

Requirements

1. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related)
2. Knowledge of industrial processes, automation, and robotics
3. Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks is a plus)
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
5. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
6. English – minimum B2 level
7. Category B driving license
8. Willingness to travel 2–4 times/month (mainly in Romania)
